MyBlogLog Spam + Myspace Spam = MySplogLog
After reading a whole bunch of blog posts about MyBlogLog spam like this one, this one, and this one, I just couldn't resist...

I've always believed that one of the ways that social media websites get so big and popular so fast is that it's so easy to spam. Just look at MySpace. Would MySpace be so popular if it was impossible for a user to spam? I doubt it. Spam is free advertising for people that can't afford it (albeit, a useles way to advertise).
I actually, don't care if people spam my BlogLog community. I ignore those messages just like I ignore MySpace messages. But there's a BIG difference between MySpace and MyBlogLog. MySpace does pretty much nothing about the spam. MyBlogLog actually works to fix all of the problems that come up. That's a big difference. If you create a website that gets as popular as MyBlogLog in a short amount of time, spammers will find a way to spam your site too. I Like MyBlogLog and will continue to use it.
