Are you looking to build a great driveway for your house with interlock?
The following contractors provide interlocking tips for building driveways:
•Jadran Grbic - When installing interlock, whether a driveway, walkway, or patio, ensure
the grade is prepared properly. Use limestone screening as your base.
Level out the area, taking into consideration a slight slope for water run
off. Lay the interlock and cover with a light coat of brick sand. Sweep
the sand into all the joints. Leave some sand on top of the interlock.
This is to avoid scratching while packing the stones down. Use a plate
tamper and pack the stones. Apply more brick sand to fill all joints.
Ensure entire area is packed. TO finish, light wash the sand into all
the joints using a garden hose. Note, you should wait 4-6 wks before
using any varnish or sealers on your interlock. This will prolong its life!!
