Gordie Glavan - When taping or mudding drywall, always be sure to cover drywall joints with durabond prior to taping with regular drywall compound. Durabond is much stronger than regular compound and it prevents cracking. Once a coat of durabond is applied and dried, you can begin to apply tape and compound to the drywall. It is suggested to apply three coats of compound with a quick sanding in between and one final good sanding after the third coat to ensure a smooth, uniform finish.
