Interior Design Ideas
Interior designers
and design experts share their ideas on decorating your home or office.
•Lizzie Garrett - When struggling with decorating small and confined spaces, put up large mirrors to create the illusion of space. Many restaurants and boutiques use this trick and in turn it makes their customers feel more comfortable. I also think large framed mirrors add a little sparkle or glamor to a space.

•Sandra Valente - When decorating you must always set a budget and ensure that you stay within that budget. Take one room at a time and never start more than one project. Pick the smallest room in the house, the sooner this room is completed the faster you will be motivated to begin your next project.
Decorating is not just about the furniture in the room but the colors of the wall, the window treatments and accessories. It is always good to check for local garage sales... and always get a good bargain on a piece of furniture you can refurbish. Purchase unfinished products and varnish them yourself. Make use of replicas, like laminate floors or ceramics versus the real wood strips. Use inexpensive pre-painted molding versus the solid wood, the look is the same and no one will be able to tell.
